July 13, 2016

Good Afternoon! This is a quick update from JYB Group.

Our Boba Shop will be called The BobaCade, which is a mixture of Boba and Arcade.

Our first floor will focus more on boba and social gathering (Our Social Lounge).

Our second floor will focus more on gaming rooms. These rooms will include (but not limited to): Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, etc). We are also looking at the classic arcade game consoles such as Street Fighter, Pacman, Pinball, etc; However, these classic games will not be available to our shops until we create a steady profit with our business.

We also have two questions we'd like to ask before posting a link to our short survey. If you could answer these questions, it will help us move forward with our business. Thank you! (The link to our short survey will be posted soon)

1. How must would you be willing to pay for snacks? (Popcorn Chicken, Garlic Fries, Croissants...)
2. How much would you be willing to pay per hour?

  1. Hey JYB group
I really like your idea of combining two very popular business's into one! The millennials would greatly enjoy this.
As for willingness to pay, for snack i feel anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars is reasonable and 8 to 10 dollars an hour for gaming.

  5. I feel $10 per hour is too much; a price around $5 would be much more reasonable. As for the food, it depends on the portion sizes. I would pay $3 for a croissant, and probably $6 for a decent portion of garlic fries.

  6. For the arcade games I would pay $5 per hour max. For the snacks I think anywhere around 3-4 dollars depending on portion sizes would be okay to me.

  8. $5 per hour for an unlimited use of the arcade honestly does not seem like enough. I would be willing to pay more, depending on the selection and quality of the games. I've seen snacks at boba places range between $3-7.

  10. $5 per snack is fair and $9-10$ for gaming is good. Boba and games sound fun!

  11. I like this idea. Boba restaurants seem to be very popular in my experience. I feel that adding gaming consoles will greatly increase business and probably increase sales as customers will spend more time there.

I would be willing to pay $3-$6 for snacks and $7-$10 for an hour of gaming.

  14. I like the name it's very creative! Personally I don't like Boba or play video games but I do like snacks, so I can help you out there! I would pay around $6-$10 depending what type of snacks they are and the quality. If there is a combo option available even better! like chicken fingers and fries for $9 i would totally buy it, and maybe even try out a game if it came with the purchase of a meal. Like if you buy a combo you could get a free half hour of games or something like that.
