    1. Thank you, and yes we have! It's going to be located in Los Alamitos, CA near Los Alamitos high school.

    2. Why did you choose that as a location?

    3. Great question! As a former student of Los Alamitos High School, I found it rather annoying to have to drive down to Garden Grove to get boba and other snacks. We thought it would be a good idea to create a shop closer to the school and within a neighborhood that does not have any boba to offer

  2. This is an interested topic. Can I ask how are you going to win the competition in the market? What sales strategies you will use?

    1. we have the advantage of having a boba/gaming shop at the same time which could attract a broader audience base. We will have a couple of grand opening offers to attract initial customers, then we might do a referral rewards program or something like that. We're still putting different ideas together. Come back to visit our blog next week for more details. Thank you!

  4. That is an awesome idea! I would totally spend time with my friends there. One of my questions would be how long customers would stay in the store in order for the store to be profitable enough? Good luck :) Can't wait to hear about it more.

    1. Hi Deni! We would love to have you in our shop! Since our target customers are young people, we are expecting a steady stream of customer traffic. Youth demographic is quite diverse, which is why we will continue our research to find ways to better serve our customers needs. As for profitability, length of stay is a good indicator of cash inflow, but we are also relying on other factors to obtain profits such as number of customers and a variety of services we will be offering. Stay tuned!

    1. Hi James, that is a really good question. To keep our shop running, it would be necessary for us to charge minimum gaming fees.

  8. Hey JYB! I think this idea would make for a great novelty business that will cater to the teenage and young adult demographic. You should definitely consider using social media as one of your main marketing platforms given that people in this age cohort have a very large presence online. Best of luck!

  12. Wow a bobacade would be awesome. arcades are a dying industry that I hope will be revived! I would be willing to spend around $5 an hour without thinking about it and some popcorn chicken and drinks around the $3-5 price range would be great.
